1. Facial assessment of your areas of concern and analysis of the strength of your muscles will be performed
2. Treatment plan and dosage will be discussed between patient and provider
3. Skin will be cleansed
4. Muscles will be injected with doses of Botox/Dysport right below the skin with very fine needles
5. Temporary redness and swelling (“mosquito bites”) may be present at injection sites temporarily and this is normal and will dissipate on its own
6. Results will begin to kick in within a few days and full results will be present at 2 weeks.
7. You will look natural and just like yourself immediately following you appointment! Nobody has to even know you had a treatment!

Plan ahead and schedule your appointment 4 weeks before any big event such as wedding or vacation- especially if it is your first treatment. This will allow time for a 2 week follow up to recheck injections so you are looking your best for the event
Avoid alcohol 24hrs before your appointment. Alcohol can thin the blood and increase your risk of bruising.
Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications or supplements such as Advil, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, Aspirin, Vitamin E, fish oil, & St. John’s Wart a few days before your appointment, unless prescribed by your doctor.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you are not a candidate for treatment.
Do NOT massage or rub the treated area for 24hrs following treatment
Avoid facials, massages, and chiropractor appointments for 24hrs following appointment so that you are not manipulating the areas that were treated
Wait 24hrs to wear hats or headbands
Avoid tanning beds, steam rooms, and saunas for 24hrs
Avoid heavy exercise and sweating for 24hrs following treatment
If bruising is present at the injection site- do not panic, it will improve within a few days. You may apply ice.
Injection sites such as forehead may be tender following treatment, this is normal.
Reassess your treatment once it has been a full 2 weeks as it can take this long to reach full results. At this time if you feel you need a dose adjustments, give us a call and we would be happy to do a recheck!

2. Numbing agents will be applied to the treatment areas for 15-20 minutes.

4. Temporary injection site redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness is common. This will improve within the next 48-472hours but varies by patient.

Avoid facials, massages, gua sha, clarisonic/lumi spa devices, and chiropractor appointments for 10 days following treatment
Do NOT massage or rub the treated area unless instructed to do so by your provider.
AVOID tanning beds, sauna, hot yoga, and steam rooms 72hrs after injections.
You may apply ice following treatment and for the first 48 hours to reduce severity of bruising. Apply for 10 min every hour or as instructed by your provider.
